Esty are going to destroy themselves at this rate. They've changed the algorithm/search and my sales have plummeted, well, fair enough etsy, if you don't want the fees, that's fine by me, and it gives me more time to promote my websites. Well done etsy. They are going to annoy a lot of hard working etsy sellers, and more will leave, but I think that might actually be what they want. They are way too demanding and controlling, selling isn't fun on etsy.

Results included sewing machines, sewing machine parts, a hand stitcher, a vintage lamp made out of a sewing machine, a t-shirt with a sewing machine graphic, a watch with a decorative face that had sewing equipment, and a buttonhole cutter...

I love the blog idea I will try that next. My most engagement on fb was when I ask for advise on a painting I was doing.

How do I manage shipping costs when I have a single listing for multiple products (like a bumper sticker and a yard sign) that use different print-on-demand providers and have different shipping fees? For example, if the bumper sticker ships for $4.99 and the yard sign ships for $13.99, how can I make sure the customer is charged the correct shipping fee based on the product they select? oooh no, if you use the same prompts or general prompts without specifying styles every one ends up with mediocre art that looks the same, or slightly the same but with the same styles, lines and colors. So no one really buys ai art, you have to use it as reference material and create your own. Thats sells like crazy.

Thank you for the information, a lot of misinformation and downright lies out there about it. I personally started out generating images with AI and did some editing,fixing with photoshop. Definitely a market for it, I soon mastered that skill and have sort of moved off Etsy (I have not put much into it) to form my own business designing and building on AI images, getting them print ready and outsourcing my print transfers/decals to put on many different things to sell in person and on my new eBAY store. I already had the photoshop skill already but AI has added in the opportunity to up my game in staying ahead of the competition. I started learning AI image design as soon as it was available to the public and able to pay for top tier subscription to use it. Too many people just generate images and toss them on Etsy to sell thinking it is easy money, the market is saturated but what is going to get you noticed is the graphic design skills behind it. AI is not taking graphic designers jobs, the people who use AI are taking the peoples jobs who do not use AI.

I was with etsy from the second year. 7 months ago I had a busy shop and was clearing at least 2k a week. It was like an abusive relationship the last few years. The reason I left was bc I had a customer lie and change stories harass me and tell me thry know no matter what the truth is etsy will refund them. I showed etsy all of it and they still refunded it from my bank account without my approval AND THEN the customer wrote a review making fun of my disability and etsy refused to remove it. I walked away from 54 orders and never went back. I love goimagine bc its like etsy was back in the old days before they stopped caring about people and only caring about money. My traffic was only from etsy so Im still not straight financially but I dont care bc the support Ive recieved from goimagine is more support than Ive recieved from etsy in the last 10 yrs. I truly hate etsy. Evil entity as far as Im concerned.

I like your idea about adding a listing or redoing an old listing that isn’t selling. A new listing may just mean starting a new painting, which, when finished I can make as prints. Definitely not a one day project, but I can do some work on that new listing or maybe create a new listing by cropping in on a popular subject to focus just on the head of the dog for example. Then, I can move on to a social media post ( my worst area for getting something done).

Yep, it took me a week with POD to figure I wasn't going to make a killing! I think that POD could be a good side business as it is pretty low involvement as far as time if you are a designer. Hi there, Your videos are excellent! I've had my shop on Etsy since 2012, and I must say that before they went public, they NEVER made constant changes so often as they do now. Things were pretty consistent, and there was always a customer service representative who you could speak with over the phone. It's changed so much, and the secure feeling that I used to have selling on Etsy is guite sadly, gone. But for now, I will remain, as it it is my main source of income. I may try opening a shop on goimagine. Hmmmm

Their big problem are drop shippers marking up AliTemuSheinWish tat as if artisan handmade items.

I personally think Etsy shipping is the most complicated part of having an Etsy shop. Etsy seems to love adding harebrained schemes that aren’t thought out well to benefit them but complicate it for sellers.
